Overview
Run RS4 as your field rover or as a fixed base for compatible equipment. Its 672-channel receiver tracks multiple satellite constellations and frequency bands, including L5 and L6. LTE, Wi-Fi, LoRa and UHF give crews several ways to deliver corrections as site conditions change.
Work beyond a level pole
IMU-based tilt compensation helps measure hard-to-reach points while retaining a defined accuracy model.
Connect the field crew
Both LoRa and UHF support transmitting and receiving corrections. NTRIP offers a network-based alternative.
Keep raw observations
Internal storage supports RINEX logging for compatible post-processing workflows. RS4 is the non-camera model in the RS4 family.

RTK precision requires suitable satellite reception and valid corrections. Obstructions, multipath, correction quality and baseline distance affect results. Tilt adds the stated error term to RTK accuracy. Rated endurance varies with radio use, temperature and operating configuration. Follow Emlid’s care instructions for the receiver’s ingress-protection rating.
